“ Larry's is still great after all of these years. My wife and I, co-workers, friends and associates have eaten here for over 40 years. I know several staff still there from the 'early' years. Larry's has simply always been good. It is dependable and a great place for a casual dining experience. Some people say, "You either love it or hate it." I have met very few of the 'latter'. It seems most of us have our favorite dish at Larry's and find it hard to steer away from those when eating here but you really can't go wrong. I think of this place as "Tex-Mex" but it has moments of 'real' Mexican food in a variety of it's dishes and I love it. The chicken and beef fajitas are as good as you get anywhere. Tender, juicy and tasty! It is an understandable 'staple' in Richmond, Texas and I hope it stays around for many more years. ”

“ I'll share this as 9 yr old me in 1979. This was the first place I ever had guacamole. My needy white parents had been her before and made a green dip sound so weird. So Larry's was probably my first authentic Mexican food experience. Glad it's still open. I should visit again, 45 years later. ”

“ One of my favorites. Have been coming here my whole life. A family run restaurant since the 1960s. The staff are amazing and make sure tips and dip are always on the table. My favorite every single time is the beef enchiladas you can't go wrong with them. The queso is amazing as well so try to order that when you come. Just very good hometown Tex-Mex that has been here for generations and hopefully many more generations to come. ”
“ Place always has flies around the food. Lettuce and cheese on tacos was spoiled. Salsa isn't that great. Chips are good. Pretty expensive for Mexican food. I wouldn't recommend. Not worth the drive to Rosenburg. ”
“ Family run business since 1960. Sunday supper time on Mother's Day. Open seating...just find a table. Was served chips and dip twice, both times they were warm. Ordered two enchilada meals that come with three enchilada's, rice and beans. The rice was made differently than most places we have eaten at...which had great flavor. Very large cups for iced tea. Also had a children's quesadilla with rice and beans. Down to Earth place with great food at a fair price. Definately worth a return visit. ”

The brisket tacos can't be missed - phenomenal! And the Mexican shrimp cocktail was perfect!Fantastic food at a very reasonable price in a cozy atmosphere. ”
